Free Flytipping Training
Keep Scotland Beautiful has been contracted by Zero Waste Scotland (ZWS) to deliver 100 free training places on its Flytipping & Waste Enforcement, and Evidence, Notebooks & Statements courses during 2011-12. This means that, if you are a practitioner, you could claim a free place on either or both of these courses.
Training is open to relevant employees from a number of different organisations, including local authority waste/cleansing/environment/protective service managers, litter/environmental wardens, town centre managers, other land managers, registered social landlords, the police, NFU and SEPA etc.
- The one day Flytipping & Waste Enforcement course outlines the relevant legislation; what constitutes waste and Duty of Care; case studies and best practice; and practical solutions currently being used to tackle the flytipping issue.
- The one day Evidence, Notebooks and Statements course covers the rules of evidence, obtaining statements, official notebooks, photographs and productions, reporting offenders to the Fiscal and presenting evidence in court.

The Scottish Flytipping Forum
The Scottish Flytipping Forum was established with all of the key stakeholders who are affected by flytipping and the organisations responsible for the investigation and disposal of many flytipping incidents. The work of the Forum includes:
